Hadith: Extravagance and Wasteful Spending

 

⚠️ TAḤDHĪR AL-KARĪM [MINAL-KHULUQ ADH-DHAMĪM]

🚫  ( Warning the Honourable [from reprehensible conducts] )

⟱⟱⟱⟱⟱⟱⟱⟱

❊❊❊❊ ⁕⁕⁕⁕ ❊❊❊❊❊❊

  ( Extravagance and wasteful spending )

❊❊❊❊ ⁕⁕⁕⁕ ❊❊❊❊❊❊

❊ ʿAmr bn Shuʿaib, may Allāh have mercy on him narrated from his father¹ that his grandfather² narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

« Eat and drink, give charity and wear clothes, as long as that does not involve any extravagance or pride.»〘 Ibn Mājah; Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Mājah, No. 2920, Ṣaḥīḥ at-Targhīb, No. 2145 〙

¹ His father is Shuʿaib bn Muḥammad bn ʿAbdillah bn ʿAmr, may Allāh have mercy on him

² His grandfather is ʿAbdullah bn ʿAmr bn al-ʿĀṣ, may Allāh be pleased with both of them.
